About Me...
I think it's important I kick this review off with a little about me.
If you're ready to skip to the meat and potatoes of this Jasper review, then keep going, otherwise, let me explain.
My name is Derek Pierce and I run the place here at ThinkTankLab.com.
I started digital marketing about 15 years ago seeing success primarily in the affiliate marketing and SEO world.
I've done everything from local SEO, service work, reputation management, and ran ads and an email newsletter for my business.
One of the things that you'll hear me say over and over again inside this review is the importance of content.
And I've never seen a tool quite like Jasper that creates content that's 100% readable, passes Copyscape, and safe to use on your Money Sites or Client's sites.
Which is why I'm doing this review.
Inside, I'll hit some of the high points of where we spend most of our time inside the Jasper AI dashboard.
What is Jasper?
JasperAI, formerly known as Jarvis which was previously Conversion AI, is a web based software application that allows you to create content using artificial intelligence.
Sounds kinda weird but they rebranded ConversionAI to Jarvis after everyone kept referring to the software by the bot's name.
The software blew up with a lot of new subscribers which in turn caused some issues with Disney's Marvel and therefore they rebranded the software again with Jasper.
Don't let the rebrands scare you - this software is badass as you'll see.
In other words, Jasper basically does all the heavy lifting.
You simply give it a nudge with some basic instructions and it will spit out high quality content that all passes copyscape.
Best of all it's 100% readable.
I began seeing the ads run for this particular software for a few months before I ever pulled the trigger.
The biggest reason was most were promoting this as a copywriter's tool, so I decided to put it to the test for writing blog post.
What is Artificial Intelligence Copywriting?
AI copywriting is simply computer generated copy using NLP (Natural Language Processing).
When using most ai software and tools, you'll see that it's a bunch of gibberish that doesn't always make sense to the reader or the copy it spits out doesn't pass Copyscape.
Both are a big problem.
Our goal when creating content is to provide the most in depth, user friendly piece of content, so the end user gets what they're looking for while also being a 100% original piece.
That's where Jasper takes this all to the next level.
Not only does this write great articles, but it can also write all of your ads for you too.
That means if you have struggled with...

If you're an SEO agency, then you can easily outsource this in house using Jasper by simply understanding the commands and how Jasper works.
My experience with the software
As I stated earlier, I'm an actual customer of this tool and have been for several months at the time of writing this review and I can say that the software has more than exceeded my expectations.
If you consider that the average article that we'd order of somewhere like Upwork would run about $20 per article for 1,000 words, Jasper is a no-brainer because I can crank out unlimited articles with their Boss Mode plan.
Using the templates and the long form assistant with some simple directions that we'll touch on a little later in this review, you can created 2,000 word articles inside of 20 minutes.
That's even if you don't know about the subject at hand.
This takes affiliate marketing to the next level.

What Can Jasper Be Used For?
Pretty much anything where you need to create any type of content.
I think the best way to explain it is to show you some behind the scenes stuff with Jasper in action.
This is going to be pretty lengthy because of all the bells and whistles under one roof of Jasper as we'll go through each of my favorite templates to use and what I think you'll find the most beneficial.
Jasper AI Templates Make It A Breeze
Templates make it easy to navigate to what you want to do inside the dashboard.
Think of these as shortcuts to whatever type of content you want to create.
As you can see in the graphic above there are a lot of areas to cover.
Jasper AI includes over 50 templates that allow you a shortcut for whatever you're working on.
Each template is divided into the following sections to make it easier to find.

As you can see from the list above, there's about anything and everything you can imagine.
Inside, we'll be going over some of our favorite templates and the ones we'll think you'll use the most.
Blog Post for SEO using the Long Form Assistant
In our experience, the Long Form Assistant is where you'll be spending most of your time inside Jasper and it's the one area you'll want to master.
You can find the icon that looks something like this inside your dashboard.
For starters we all know Google loves WordPress as a content platform.
Writing well researched, in depth articles are the foundation blocks to ranking but also building up your overall site's authority in the search engines.
However, building these long form content pieces can be a major headache.
As I stated before, we typically hire someone to write 1,000 word articles for $20-30 a piece and often we have to edit the articles before they're ready for publication.
Not to mention having to wait around on your writer.
When you use Jasper to write the content, you can expect to crank out 2,000 word articles in as little as 20 minutes.
With 100% original content that's well researched and close to being ready for publication.
It all starts using the Long Form Assistant.
When you open this template up, you will simply insert a few commands telling Jasper to write the article about.
All you do is insert the following:
- 1Title or the Headline of Your Article
- 2The Content Brief: This is nothing more than a quick description of your article of what you want Jasper to write about. The more descriptive you are here, the better the content will be.
- 3Select the Tone of Voice
- 4Plug in your keywords of what the article is about
- 5Select Small, Medium, or Large for your Content Length
- 6Then Hit Compose

Do robots have feelings too? Could they have a conscious mind of their own? Will they give rise to our most feared "Judgment Day" sci-fi fantasies come true?
Not bad- huh?
The cool part about all of this is you can use Jasper for topics you know nothing about.
While, it's better to be somewhat knowledgeable about your niche, Jasper can do the majority of the heavy lifting.
This long form assistant is where I spend almost all of my time inside Jasper.
What is the Boss Mode Plan?
Jasper has a plan called Boss Mode and this feature takes Jasper to another level of writing out content.
Before Boss Mode, Jasper could only write a portion of the article, then you'd have to fill in the blanks a bit to jumpstart it up again.
Typically, after writing a paragraph, you'd have to include 1-2 sentences to steer it in the right direction.
Boss Mode changed all of that.
Now, you can continue to hit the compose button allowing Jasper to pick up write where he left off.
We'll get into more of the pricing options later on but I wanted to address what "Boss Mode" meant as you'll hear that word thrown around quite a bit.
Just know that - it's the only way to go.
We'll go into detail in a separate post how to create these in depth, quality review articles inside Jasper.
Blog Post Templates
One of the biggest bottleknecks for digital marketers revolves around not having enough content ideas.
Think about how many times you've stared at a blank screen wondering what to write next or how to structure the content.
Thankfully these templates make creating a blog post much easier.
Blog Post Topic Ideas
These are topics that you can use to brainststart and get new ideas for your blog post.
Never wonder what to write again, simply fill in a couple of prompts and let Jasper AI crank out your new topic ideas.
Blog Post Outline
This will allow you to create list and how to type of articles by having a solid outline and plan of attack on your new content.
Blog Post Introduction
Often the first words we attempt to write are the hardest which is why this is such an important element. You simply let Jasper AI come up with your introduction paragraph for you.
Blog Post Conclusion
Having trouble wrapping up your content? Simply tell Jasper to drop a conclusion and call it a day.
Explain to A Child Template
This template allows you to take complex content, rephrase it and make it easier to understand.
Often, when dealing with clients that are so wrapped up with their own processes it's difficult to write a simple ad or build a site whenever the lingo is not universally recognized.
If you've not seen that previously, it's only a matter of time.
Once you drop it inside this template, Jasper AI will rephrase it so it flows so much smoother and allows you to dictate what output grade level for reading.
Ad Templates
So far, we've talked mainly about using Jasper for writing long form blog content, rephrasing content, and coming up with topic ideas.
However, Jasper is so much more than helping you with the content to create a blog or website.
You can also utilize Jasper to write your ad campaigns for you or your clients.
If you've got a digital agency, this can be another source of revenue that you can use without much additional work by simply letting Jasper write the ads for you.
Yes, you may need to massage them a bit, but in most cases, these ads are as good as what many of the high priced gurus could put together.
Facebook Ads Headline Template
First, we'll dive into the Facebook Ads Headline template and show you how Jasper works using 100% artificial intelligence to write our ads.
As you can see above, much like the other templates, you simply include the name of your Company or Product name, a description, the tone of voice, and click to generate the content.
Jasper will crank out 3 outputs for you to choose from and if you don't like any of those, you can scratch it and start over.
Let's give it a go to show you what it looks like.
These are 3 solid options for a headline for my Brand Stack System and it took me just a few seconds to run.
Hopefully, you're getting the gist of how this software is working.
You can use the system to crank out the Facebook Primary Text as well.

What is the difference in 3 Modes inside the Long Form Editor?
There are 3 different modes if you're using the long form assistant tab.
- Focus Mode
- Power Mode
- SEO Mode
Each of these offer a unique view of your content creation and we'll dive into each of these 3 modes to see which is best for you.
Focus Mode
This is what you've seen in the screenshots with a basic editor where Jasper writes the content and you can add content to the document, including any of the Headings (H1,H2,H3), bold, and even add links to your document.
Once you're finsihed with your document inside Focus Mode, you're able to copy and paste directly into your doc or if you'e using something like WordPress, you can paste directly inside the editor.
Power Mode
Inside the Power Mode of Jasper, allows you to quickly scroll through the various templates we discussed above.
Let's say for example, that you started an article and wanted to integrate any of the templates into your article, you'd simply turn on Power Mode and follow the prompts from there.
In this example below, we're looking at adding the AIDA Framework (the oldest marketing framework that stands for Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) to our article.
SEO Mode
The SEO Mode is where we spend most of our time inside Jasper.
It's extremely powerful allowing you to know with pinpoint certainty what to include inside your articles from your word count, headings, and more.
To use the SEO Mode, you'll need a separate subscription to Surfer SEO (this is a 3rd party service that in my opinion is the best SEO software on the planet)
You can see in the screenshot, on the left side, we've simply entered our keyword into the Surfer Integration directly into the Jasper AI interface allowing us to see the recommended changes that Surfer is suggesting.
Surfer SEO analyzes the data from the top 10 to tell you how to make your content better to rank in the search results including suggested keywords, headings, word count, and images to use.
Plus, it also tells you how many times to include the suggested words, gives you a briefing of what to create your content around.
If you notice in the graphic above, you'll see the words in red and a suggested range to include those inside our content.
Once we start plugging these words into our article, you'll notice the word count going up along with our content score that's built into Surfer.
Combining Surfer with Jasper makes it so you can see exactly what to build your content around.

Is Jasper AI Worth It?
By now, you've seen what Jasper can do, probably heard all the hype around it, but wondering if it's a fit for you.
